Biblical Teaching

Each week our pastor endeavors to bring a message from the Bible that is designed to strengthen our walk with God, help us grow in our faith, face life's challenges with confidence, and find victory through obedience and faith. This is accomplished with a variety of message styles, including topical, expository, and series.

Growth, Healing, and Service

People come to our church from a variety of backgrounds. We are not all at the same place in our Christian growth and walk. At Second Baptist, our goal is to help believers grow in their faith as they learn more about God and His plan for their lives. We also want to help those who are carrying wounds and hurt from past experiences find healing and wholeness once again. Finally, we encourage each person to express the gifts and talents God has given them through various avenues of service both inside the church and in our local community.

Family and Fellowship

The need for community and family has never been greater. We believe that having a place where you belong and a group of believers to fellowship with is a vital part of a healthy relationship with God. We believe that to become a Christian is to be placed into a family. None of us are stronger alone! Our church strives to foster a sense of family and provide opportunities to fellowship with other believers, as we server God together.
