Biblical Teaching
Each week our pastor endeavors to bring a message from the Bible that is designed to strengthen our walk with God, help us grow in our faith, face lif'es challenges with confidence, and find victory through obedience and faith. This is accomplished with a variety of message styles, including topical, expository, and series.
Growth, Healing, and Service
People come to our church from a variety of backgrounds. We are not all at the same place in our Christian growth and walk. At Second Baptist, our goal is to help believers grow in their faith as they learn more about God and His plan for their lives. We also want to help those who are carrying wounds and hurt from past experiences find healing and wholeness once again. Finally, we encourage each person to express the gifts and talents God has giiven them through various avenuse of service both isnide the church and in our local community.
Family and Fellowship
We cherish the concept of family in its broadest sense, recognizing that we are all part of God's family. Through various activities and gatherings, we strive to create a welcoming and inclusive environment where individuals can build lasting relationships, support one another, and grow together in faith as a part of God's larger family.
